Boomers Plus Communications is owned and operated by Stacey Foisy, a tail-end
Baby Boomer, public relations and marketing gerontologist, and
Chicago native. She plays a hands-on role in strategic planning and
implementation of all client projects. Depending on the project,
she will act as team leader, main point of contact, head strategist,
and public relations counselor.
Stacey has worked in the field of aging, public relations and
marketing for over 15 years has been actively involved in advocacy,
marketing, and public relations for health care and non-profit
organizations such as; Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly,
American WholeHealth, Inc., Community Nursing Service West, Mather
Lifeways and Seniors Action Service. She has been responsible for
innovative programs such as the 1996 “Rally against Ageism” and the
national “Coming of Ages” intergenerational art exhibit, which
received national attention. Stacey has gained national publicity
for organizations leading to coverage in: The Chicago Tribune,
Oprah’s O Magazine, NPR, Modern Maturity Magazine, Aging Today, WGN,
PBS, Miami Herald; including various media in affiliate cities.
Stacey received her BA in Communications from Roger Williams
University in Rhode Island, MA in Communications from Northeastern
Illinois University and a graduate certificate in Gerontology from
the University of Washington.
