Boomers Plus Produces Civil Rights Oral Histories For AARP
Evanston, IL --Boomers Plus Communications was on hand to record
personal stories for AARP's Voices of Civil Rights held at Chicago's
DuSable Museum.
During the months of February, March, and April, families,
grandparents and other members of the community gathered at the
story center to share their memories of the Civil Rights movement
and talk about their personal experiences during a very tumultuous
time in our nation's history.
These stories were recorded and produced to be archived at the
Library of Congress in Washington DC.
